Community Rules
Althera Community is a meeting place we built for talking about our games and our studio, reporting bugs and sharing ideas. We want to keep it safe and enjoyable for everyone, so we have a few rules. You accept these rules when you create your account. Everything shared in the community, including topics, replies, reviews and profiles, is subject to these rules.
Respect and conduct
Write respectfully to everyone. You can disagree with ideas and criticise our games, but don't target people. Harassment, insults, belittling and messages meant to provoke are not allowed.
Hate speech and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, language, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other characteristic are not allowed. Threatening people, calling for violence or pushing someone towards harming themselves is not allowed either.
Don't share anyone's personal information. Publishing other people's names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, photos or account details without their permission (doxxing) is not allowed. We also recommend that you don't post your own contact details in public messages: everyone can read everything written in the community.
Don't pretend to be someone else. Names and profiles that impersonate another user, a real person or the Althera Games team are not allowed. Names such as “Althera”, “admin”, “moderator”, “official” and “support” are reserved for the team and cannot be taken. Messages posted on behalf of the team always appear under the name “Althera Games” with a “Moderator” badge. Our team will never ask you for the login link sent to your email.
Content rules
Write in Turkish or English. Choose the language of your topic when you start it, so that everyone can find the topics in their own language.
Hide spoilers. To hide a word or a sentence, put two vertical bars on each side of it: ||like this||. To hide one or more whole lines, start each line with an exclamation mark followed by a greater-than sign, then leave a space.
Conversations about the story, the endings and the surprises belong in the Story & Theories section. Mark spoilers in every section and never put them in topic titles; messages with unmarked spoilers may be hidden.
Spam and advertising are not allowed: this includes posting the same message again and again, sharing links unrelated to the topic, and promoting products, services, servers or channels.
Piracy and cheating are not allowed. Don't share, link to or ask for pirated copies of games, cracks or cheat software.
Don't share any illegal content; this includes content that encourages crime or infringes other people's copyright or personal rights. Obscene and sexual content is not allowed either. Such content is removed, and your account may be banned permanently.
Only upload images that you made yourself or have permission to share, such as your own screenshots of the game. If you want to share a drawing or a photo that belongs to someone else, ask the owner for permission and credit them.
You must be at least 13 years old to join the community. You confirm this when you create your account.
How to write a bug report
When you start a topic in the Bug Reports section, the text box comes with a ready-made template. Filling in every field helps us find and fix the bug much faster:
Platform: where you play the game (for example Windows 11 or Steam Deck).
Game version: the version you play (for example v0.0.9). If you're not sure, write when you got the latest update.
What happened? Briefly describe the problem you saw; if an error message appeared, copy it exactly.
How to reproduce? List, in order, the steps you took to see the bug again (1, 2, 3 …).
What did you expect? Write what should have happened if there were no bug.
Report one bug per topic. Before starting a new topic, check whether the same bug has already been reported; if it has, reply in that topic. Screenshots help a lot (image uploads are open to trusted users). Every bug topic starts as “Open”; the team updates its status to “Investigating”, “Fixed”, “In the next patch” or “Not a bug”.
Moderation
The community is run by the Althera Games team. The team may hide, edit or delete content that breaks the rules, and may lock topics or move them to another section.
The first 2 messages (topics, replies or reviews) of a new account are reviewed by the team before they are published. Until then, only you can see your message, with an “Awaiting approval” label. Once two of your messages are approved, you become a trusted user and your later messages are published right away. Sharing links and uploading images are also open to trusted users only.
Messages containing certain words may also wait for the team's approval before they are published.
If you see content that breaks the rules, let us know with the “Report” button or by writing to info@altheragames.com. Content reported by 3 different trusted users is hidden automatically until the team reviews it. Misusing the report button is also a breach of the rules.
Depending on how serious the breach is, the account may be banned for 1, 7 or 30 days or permanently, in addition to the content being removed. A banned account can still read the community but cannot write; a temporary ban ends automatically when it expires. If necessary, all of the account's content may be hidden as well.
Althera Games has the final say in moderation decisions. If you want to appeal a decision, write to info@altheragames.com with your display name and a link to the content concerned; we will review your appeal.

The content in the community is written by our users. Under Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed by Means of Such Publications, Althera Games is the hosting provider (yer sağlayıcı) of this content. Responsibility for the content that users write lies with those users, who are the content providers under Law No. 5651. As the hosting provider, we are not obliged to check every piece of content one by one; however, we review content reported to us as illegal and take it down where necessary.

As required by law, traffic data (IP address, country, browser information, time, account and action) is recorded for actions such as logging in, writing and editing content, uploading images, reporting and deleting an account. These records are kept for 400 days and deleted when that period ends. They are never shown on any page, and are shared with third parties only with legally authorised bodies, upon their official request.
If you see illegal content, you can tell us by pressing the “Report” button next to the content and choosing the “Illegal content” reason, or by sending a link to the content to info@altheragames.com. These reports reach the team immediately; the content is reviewed and taken down where necessary.
We carry out orders of courts and competent authorities immediately and within the time limits set by law.
Personal rights violation requests (Law No. 5651, Article 9)
If you believe that content in the community violates your personal rights (for example, if it contains insults, false claims, a photo published without permission or personal information about you), you can apply to us under Article 9 of Law No. 5651 to have the content removed.
Send your application to info@altheragames.com and include: a link to the content, a short explanation of which of your rights is violated and why, your full name, and contact details we can reach you at. If you are applying on someone else's behalf, also include information showing that you are authorised to represent them.
We reply to your application by email within 24 hours at the latest. You may also apply directly to a criminal judgeship of peace (sulh ceza hâkimliği).
Personal data
In the Community Privacy Notice, we explain which personal data we process for your community account and for what purposes, where we store it, and what your rights are. You can read it at /en/privacy#community.
In your profile settings (/en/community/settings) you can download your data as a file and delete your account. When you delete your account, your email address and your Steam connection are deleted and the images you uploaded are removed; the messages and reviews you wrote, however, stay in place under the name “deleted user”. If you wish, you can delete your messages and reviews one by one before deleting your account. Even if you delete your account, traffic records kept under Law No. 5651 are retained until their 400-day period ends.
To exercise your rights under KVKK (Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data), write to info@altheragames.com from the email address registered to your account; we respond to applications within 30 days at the latest.
Changes
We may update these rules as the community grows. The current text is always on this page and applies from the moment it is published.
If you have questions about the rules, write to info@altheragames.com.
